Md. Arif Anwar
Lead Specialist, Strategic Sourcing-Network at Grameenphone Ltd.

Mohammad Arif Anwar is an MBA (in Finance, from the University of Dhaka), an Int’l Diploma on SCM(P), ITC, Geneva and an MCIPS (Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).

 

Mr. Arif has proven track records in Telecom Sourcing areas since last 14+ years (including about 5 years currently in GP Sourcing).

 

He has extensive experience of working in Network Element sourcing along with other areas of sourcing. He is the LSGM (Local Sourcing Group Manager) for Core Community of Telenor Global Sourcing and in recent times, he worked in many Telenor Global Projects like “Mobile Core GFA”, “One Asia RAN”, “One Asia Core” etc.

 

He is also experienced in the area of Vendor management, Vendor strategies, TCO analysis, negotiation strategies, contract management, etc.

 

Before GP, he worked with large multinationals like SIEMENS and Robi Axiata Limited and local conglomerate like GMG Airlines in the area of procurement, contract mgt. and Supply Chain Management.

 

Apart from his permanent job, he is a regular trainer in DCCI (Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry) for MLS-SCM(P) Diploma course jointly offered by DCCI & ITC, WTO /UNCTAD as his part-time engagement.

Md. Moshiur Rahman

Md. Moshiur Rahman is one of the leading Human Resources Practitioners with training aptitude in Bangladesh & Nepal. In addition, he has specialization in good Manufacturing Practices for Pharmaceuticals Industries and policies relates to director general of drugs administration pharmaceuticals of Afghanistan chapter.

He has diverse experience in conducting seminars and workshops in several academic & management topics in Bangladesh,  Nepal & Afghanistan. He has good knowledge and understanding in the different area of operations management; which has been gained from his practical experience through various assignments and responsibilities.

Mr. Rahman is a Pharmacist and obtained his Bachelor of pharmacy with honors & masters of pharmacy from the University of Dhaka respectively and also MBA from Bangladesh Open University. He is a fellow of Institute of Sales & Marketing Management of UK.

He attended a number of sales and marketing management training in home & abroad.  Mr. Rahman obtained overseas training from the renowned world class training institute i.e. Singapore Institute of Management-Singapore, Roche Training Institue-Basel, Switzerland, TACK Training International-United Kingdom.

All together he is having a 28 year experience in pharmaceutical industries. He served for many national and multinational pharmaceuticals company in the industry in different management position .i.e. Training Manager and Manager Human Resources Developent in Swiss Multinational Roche Bangladesh Limited. Latest attachment in Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited in the following responsibilities as Head of Supply Chain Management and latest discharging the responsibilitities of Head of Human Resources Department.  

Mr. Rahman is a widely travelled executive & travelled Nepal, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore, Malayasia, China, UAE, Bahrain, KSA, Switzerland & the UK.

He has been ranked as an excellent facilitator by various multicultural audiences, where he is considered as one of the pioneers of the movement. Also having a long attachment with DCCI as facilatators & management trainer.

Mr. Rahman teaches Pharmaceuticals Management & Ethics, Pharmaceuticals Marketing Management, Pharmaceuticals Sales Management, Pharmaceutical Inventory Management as visiting faculty for undergraduate and post graduate students in the Pharmacy Department of diffrenet private university of Bangladeshas. And also act as visiting faculty for Human Resources Management both for undergraduate and post graduate students in Business faculty of diffrenet
