Communications. Among which 10 years of work experience in Development Communications with different USAID, funded projects involved in Economic Development, Disaster Management and Population, Health, Nutrition & Education. These experiences
included 5 years in Trade and Export Development, 4 years with an international research organization involved in fisheries development worldwide and 1 year as a Country Representative of a USAID Global
Project worked in Bangladesh. Currently, he is the Country Representative-Bangladesh of IMA International, UK, which is involved in the Training and Consultancy for International Development.
Currently, He is the Chairman of the “FTA Standing Committee” of Bangladesh- Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) and the Joint Convenor of the “Standing Committee for Skills Development” and a Member of the Standing Committee on “Export Import Policy, Trade Development & Diversification – (WTO, FTA etc.) & Company Act, 2018” of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI). He is also an enlisted Trainer of DCCI Business Institute (DBI) of DCCI. He is a Former Director of Bangladesh- Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) for the year 2016-17. Also he is currently working as an Executive Committee Member of Institute of Management
Consultants Bangladesh (IMCB), Bangladesh. He is a General Member of Bangladesh Society for Human Resource Management (BSHRM), Bangladesh, Life Member of Marketing Alumni Association (MAA), University of Dhaka, Associate Member of IBA Alumni Association (IBAAA), University of Dhaka and Life & EC Member of Supply Chain Management (SCM) Alumni Society (SAS), Dhaka. He is also Member of Institute of Food Technology (IFT), USA, Member of Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), Malaysia, Member of Singapore Institute of Marketing (SIM), Singapore. He was the Ex-Member of Lions Clubs International (Districts 315-B2), Ex-Member of Bangladesh BCC
Working Group for Health, Population and Nutrition, supported by BHE, IPHN, IEM, USAID and UNICEF and Ex-General Body Member of HORTEX Foundation of Ministry of Agriculture, Government of Bangladesh.
He worked as the Deputy Head of Delegation of “Bangladesh Business Delegation to MIHAS 201 8, Malaysia” and presented in a Seminar on “Halal Ecosystem: Prospects and Opportunities in Bangladesh” at the Industry Zone arranged by the MIHAS 2018 Organizer MATRADE at MITEC on 6 April 2018. He also worked as the Delegation Coordinator of “BMCCI Trade Delegation to Malaysia 2017” and Deputy Head of Delegation of “Bangladesh Business
Mission to Turkey 2017” organized in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Istanbul, Turkey in 2017. He has worked as the Chairman of the Marketing and Communications Sub-Committee of “Showcase Malaysia 2015” and presented a keynote paper on “Franchising in Bangladesh” in a Seminar called “Business and Investment opportunities in Bangladesh”, which was jointly organized by MATRADE and BMCCI at MECC Menara MATRADE, Kualalumpur, Malaysia on 30 July 2015. He has also worked as the Chairman of the Printing, Publication and Communication Sub-Committee of “Showcase Malaysia 2013” and presented a keynote paper on “Business Opportunities in Power Generation and
Infrastructure Development in Bangladesh” in a Seminar jointly organized by MATRADE and BMCCI at MECC Menara MATRADE, Kualalumpur, Malaysia on 7 March 2013. Mr. Rahman has done his M. Com. in marketing in 1990 from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and Diploma in Computer from The Engineers & Computers, Dhaka in 1992. He has
visited and worked in USA, UK, UAE, Qatar, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Hungary, China, Japan, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Maldives and India.
