Colonel AHM Yeaseen Chowdhury, Ph.D. was commissioned in the Bangladesh Army in the corps of artillery in 1995. Currently he is serving as Sector Commander of Sreemangal BGB Sector. In his long career he attended different courses and training in both home and abroad. He served in different prestigious outfit of Bangladesh Armed Forces in different capacities including staff, instructors and command. He served in United Nations peacekeeping Missions in Liberia and Democratic republic of Congo. He served around 12 years as faculty member in Military Institute of Science and Technology and Bangladesh University of Professionals in Business Faculty.

 

Mr. Chowdhury obtained his MBA with majoring in finance from MIST, University of Dhaka achieving highest CGPA in his batch. Later on, he completed M.Phil. program from BUP and his research title was ‘Evaluating the Efficiency of Supply Chain Management of Bangladesh Readymade Garments Industry: A Case Study’. He also obtained Ph.D. degree with research title “Impact of Supply Chain Management Practices on Operational Performance in Readymade Garments Industry of Bangladesh” from the same university in 2023. Mr, Chowdhury also has a two years long diploma in Supply Chain Management with distinction from International Trade Center, Geneva, Switzerland. He completed Training of Trainers (TOT) jointly organized by DCCI and ITC and worked as resource person for the different programs on SCM in DCCI with reputation. He is a seasoned and experienced trainer on different modules and areas of Supply Chain Management, Soft Skill Development and Financial Management Modules etc.  He completed a short course on Total Quality Management (TQM) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He published 45 research articles (main focus on Supply Chain Management) in different national and international journals with high impact factor and recognized indexing.
