Mr. Mahbub is an experienced (two decade) Supply Chain Management professional with extensive knowledge and core expertise in procurement and contract management. Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, stakeholder management, outsourcing, negotiation and dispute resolution. Work across management levels in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and relationship management. A proven self-starter with a track record of consistence success, career advancement delivery of operational efficiency and innovative people leadership.He is contributing by disseminate supply chain education, knowledge through workshop, training and formal classes since 2009 and till date conducted 200+ class room training and Workshop.

Currently he is working as Senior Vice President & Head of Procurement, the City Bank Limited. Prior this, he was the General Manager & Head of Collaboration Management, Supply Chain Management in Robi Axiata Limited a cellular phone operator operating in Bangladesh, and a joint venture company between Axiata Group Berhad of Malaysia and NTT DOCOMO Inc. of Japan. Before Joining Robi he worked in International NGO CARE Bangladesh and Lenny Fashions Limited a subsidiary of Must Garments Corporation (HK) Limited in different Job role.

He has been Awarded Full membership status MCIPS of CIPS, UK (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) in 2014 , the Fellowship of CIPS (FCIPS) in 2017 and the Chartered Status in 2018. Also completed the diploma in International Purchasing, Supply management (IPSCM) offered by ITC, Geneva. He completed the post-graduate degree (Masters in Commerce) in Accounting from department of Accounting; Information System, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
