Mr. Refaul Karim is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). Additionally, he hold Fellow Memberships from the Institute of Financial Accountants in the UK (IFA) and the Institute of Public Accountants in Australia (IPA).
With over 17 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation, he has established himself as a VAT Consultant (License No. C202091) and a Certified Financial Modeler and Valuation Analyst. His expertise spans IFRS, corporate governance and compliance, pre-IPO activities, tax planning, VAT and income tax compliance, financial modeling, data analysis, and the automation and implementation of accounting systems.
He achieved MOS Excel Expert and Microsoft Certified Trainer Badge from Microsoft. He also an enlisted trainer of all the renowned institute and training platforms of Bangladesh. he conduct both in-person and online training on the following topics:
Currently, he is serving as Deputy General Manager of Finance at Transcom Distribution Company Ltd. His previous roles spanned various sectors, including Software, Telecommunications, RMG & Manufacturing, Real Estate, and Autonomous Bodies, where he held progressively responsible positions.".
