Syeda Shahana Yesmin has more than twelve years experience in procurement and Supply Chain Management. At present, she is working at BRAC as Senior Procurement Manager. Moreover, she worked with UNFPA, UNWFP, H&M, M M Ispahani Limited, IKEA. She participated in national and international seminar in strategic procurement and supply chain management such as Procurecon asia 2015 in Singapore etc.

Her specialties: Vast knowledge in procurement process & policies.

-Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) Request for Quotation (RFQ) management and Supply Chain Management.

-Tendering Process, Technical Evaluations, and Commercial Evaluations.

- Constantly liaise with local & International suppliers and co-ordinate the procurement activities.

- Special project for process improvement i.e E-procurement, Supplier Management Portal.

She did her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. She obtained Diploma from International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (IPSCM) offered by The International Trade Centre (ITC) - the joint technical cooperation agency of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). She is also CPSM of ISM, USA and has earned Diploma in CIPS.

At present she is resource person of DCCI Business Institute and conducts the classes of Supply Chain Management diploma courses offered by ITC since 2012.
