A Workshop on “VAT & Customs Procedures of Import & Export” was organized by DCCI Business Institute (DBI) on 29-30 December, 2017 in it’s premises. Fifteen (15) Business Professionals nominated by different prominent organizations were participated in the Workshop. Md. Azhar Ali Miah, Former Executive Vice Prresident, Bank Asia Ltd. conducted the workshop as Resource Person. Mohammad Arif Anwar, Head of Service Receiving, Grameen Phone Ltd. was also present in this programme. According to the participants feedback this workshop has broadened their mental horizon and made them conversant with very important issues on VAT, Customs, Import & Export etc.issues. 

Closing and Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the said program was held on 30 December, 2017 at DBI premises. Engr. Md. Al Amin, Director, DCCI graced the program as Chief Guest and shared his life story. He stated that VAT & Customs Procedures is an important factor to be competitive and run business smoothly. It is an indispensable part in business. Md. Joynal Abdin, Executive Director, DBI offered the vote of thanks in this programme. He was thankful to the organization for nominating their officials to the workshop & training programme organized by DBI. He advised the participants to share this knowledge with fellow colleagues and implement in respective organization.
