A Training Program on “Agribusiness Supply Chain Management” was organized by DCCI Business Institute (DBI) on 11-12 May, 2018 in it’s premises. Seventeen (17) Business Professionals nominated by different prominent organizations were participated in the Training. Md. Mamunur Rahman, Founder & CEO, EXPOPRO conducted the training as Resource Person Khandaker Saiful Islam, Head of People & Change Management, Rural Services Foundation was also present in this occasion. According to the participant’s feedback this training course has broadened their mental horizon and made them conversant with very important issues on Agribusiness Supply Chain Management.
Closing and Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the said program was held on 12 May 2018 at DBI premises. Md. Sirajuddin Malik, Former Vice President, DCCI graced the program as Chief Guest and shared his life story as business leader. He stated that the agribusiness industry of Bangladesh is gradually taking up the concept of having a modern and efficient supply chain management as part of their business strategy. This includes every process between farm (i.e. sowing) and fork (i.e. final consumption). But, we need to create a pool of qualified service providers who will be supplying advisory and related services to the large buyers of agro products, for building effective supply chains in this sector.
Md. Joynal Abdin, Executive Director of DCCI Business Institute (DBI) offered the vote of thanks on this occasion. He also advised the participants to practice and share their knowledge among the fellow colleagues. He was thankful to the respective authorities for nominating officials at the training program organized by DBI.
