A Workshop on “Strategic Procurement Skills” was organized by DCCI Business Institute (DBI) on 15-16 September, 2017 in it’s premises. Eighteen (18) Business Professionals nominated by different prominent organizations were participated in the Workshop. Iqbal Anwarul Islam, Head of Procurement, Avery Dennison Bangladesh conducted the workshop as Resource Person. Md. Mamunur Rahman, Founder & CEO, EXPOPRO was also present in this programme. According to the participants feedback this workshop has broadened their mental horizon and made them conversant with very important issues on procurement skill.
Closing and Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the said program was held on 16 September, 2017 at DBI premises. Imran Ahmed, Director, DCCI graced the program as Chief Guest and shared his life story. He stated that procurement is an indispensable part in international business. Considering competitiveness in global market, main activities of business houses are procurement, marketing and knowing domestic and international procedures for trade. So, skilled, efficient, knowledgeable and trained manpower is a must for success in international trade. He cautioned that every clause of procurement should be properly checked for international trade.
