A Training Program on “Rules & Procedures of VAT & Income Tax” was organized by DCCI Business Institute (DBI) on 22-23 September, 2017 in it’s premises. Nineteen (19) Business Professionals nominated by different prominent organizations were participated in the Training. Muhammad Mahbub Alam, FCA, General Manager (Accounts & Finance), Anwar Group of Industries Ltd. and Md. Iqbal Hossain, ACA, ACMA, Finance Controller & Group Head of Compliance, Rangs Group conducted the training as resource person. According to the participants feedback this training course has broadened their mental horizon and made them conversant with very important issues on VAT & Income Tax.

Closing and certificate-awarding ceremony of the said program was held on 23 September, 2017 at DBI premises. K. Atique-E-Rabbani, Former Vice President & present Director, Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) graced the program as Chief Guest.  Md. Joynal Abdin, Executive Director, DCCI Business Institute (DBI) chaired the session. He urged the participants to be the brand ambassador of DBI at respective organization and nominate their relevant colleagues in different training/workshop organized by DBI in future. The Chief Guest emphasized on Tax and VAT related knowledge of a businessman to run his organization transparently. He also advised the participants to practice and share their knowledge among the fellow colleagues. He was thankful to the authorities nominated officials at the training program organized by DBI. The Director expressed his expectations to get similar cooperation from the participating organization in future too.
