For brilliant success in conducting 6-month duration supply chain management course titled Modular Learning System in Supply Chain Management (MLS-SCM^(P)) programme, DCCI Business Institute (DBI) won “Best Training Support Institution Award 2018” from the International Trade Centre (ITC) UNCTAD/WTO, Geneva, Switzerland of its Global Network Roundtable 2018, held in Beijing, China recently. DBI awarded 1st place in the Best Training Support Institution category out of 190 institutions of 60 countries.

The award has been given in consideration with five major criterion for instance, consistency performance, growth, innovation, number of training courses and impact stories. Since 2004, around one thousand participants were trained up this MLS-SCM^(P) course from DBI. DBI has also awarded the same accolade back in 2011.

Besides, DBI has got another accolade at the same event which is the “Best Trainer of the Year Award 2018” from ITC on the basis of outstanding participant evaluations and innovative in training delivery. The best Trainer of DBI received the award is Shankar Kumar Roy. DBI all the year round conducts various need-based short and medium term courses for the professionals, entrepreneurs, business executives and job seekers to upgrade their knowledge and skills. It also conducts courses on Marketing Management, Human Resource and Financial Management. DBI is the only institution in Bangladesh which conducts ITC's authorized supply chain management course MLS-SCM^(P) programme.
