Workshop on shipping procedures held

Arif Khan, CEO and Chief Consultant, (Commercial Supply Chain and Corporate), FMS Group, Sulivan Consulting and Learning Services conducted the training as resource person, said a DCCI press release.</p> <p> <br /> M. Abu Hurairah, Director of DCCI, attended the closing and certificate awarding ceremony held on Sunday.</p> <p> <br /> While sharing his life story as an importer and exporter, he stated that shipping procedures is an indispensable document in international business.</p> <p> <br /> He also pointed out that shipping documents including bill of lading, packing list etc. are also very important document for export. So, skilled, efficient, knowledgeable and trained manpower is a must for success in international trade.</p> <p> <br /> Considering competitiveness in global market, main activities of business houses are procurement, marketing and knowing domestic and international procedures for export and import, he said, adding that so, skilled, efficient, knowledgeable and trained manpower is a must for success in international trade.</p> <p> <br /> Md. Joynal Abdin, Executive Director of DCCI Business Institute (DBI), advised the participants to practice and share their knowledge among the fellow colleagues.</p> <p> <br /> According to the participants feedback this workshop has broadened their mental horizon and made them conversant with very important issues on LC procedures.</p>
