<p> &lt;p&gt; Mr. Shankar Kumar Roy is a Corporate Trainer and Consultant. He was employed as an Advisor (Research and Planning) at M.I. Cement Factory Ltd. (Crown Cement) till 30&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt; June 2020. Before joining at Crown Cement Group, he had served at Holcim Cement (Bangladesh) Ltd (Holcim) and its previous organization Hyundai Cement (Bangladesh) Ltd for more than 16 years and lastly he was holding the post of General Manager-Business Development at Holcim. During this long service period at Holcim, he had performed a wide variety of responsibilities, which includes Business Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, CSR, Marketing, Communication, ISO Management System, Project Management, Business Risk Management, Environment, Safety, and Business Development etc.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt; A professional corporate trainer by providing practical, interactive and fun-filled activity based training to the corporate sector and training institutions through training programs, workshops, and seminars. He has conducted numerous training and has 15+ years of experience in training. His area of specialization in training is Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Marketing &amp;amp; Sales and various Soft Skills.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;ul&gt; &lt;li&gt; Imparts training on Supply Chain Management (SCM) of ITC/UNCTAD/WTO course at DCCI on a regular basis. He obtained the degree of Certified Environmental System Manager (CESM) from NERP, USA.&amp;nbsp; He also obtained International Diploma in Supply Chain Management (SCM) from ITC/UNCTAD/WTO, Geneva, Switzerland. During his long service career, he attended various training courses, ToT program, and seminars and traveled extensively at home and abroad (Switzerland, Spain, Italy, India, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, China, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Nepal).&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; 36 years job experiences in leading multinational and national companies. He started his career in 1983 at Al-Amin Sea Trans Ltd &amp;ndash; one of the then largest Shipping organizations in Bangladesh. Subsequently, he worked at American Express Bank, Khansons Group, Trans Maritime International Ltd, Prima Maritime Ltd and Multimode Group, Hyundai Cement (Bangladesh) and Holcim Cement (Bangladesh) Ltd. Besides, he was holding the post of member of Executive Committee (EC) of Switzerland Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SBCCI), Dhaka and the former President of Supply Chain Alumni Society (SAS), Dhaka. He is also a life member of Niketon Welfare Society, Gulshan, Dhaka.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; Authored various articles on Cement Industry, CSR, Sustainable Development, Environment, Safety, and others for national dailies in Bangladesh, Newsletters of HBL and Holcim Group.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; Contributed to a session namely &amp;ldquo;Carrier in Supply Chain Management&amp;ldquo;as a Keynote Speaker at three leading universities like NSU, AIUB and SEU in 2019&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; Conducted &lt;strong&gt;500+ trainings&lt;/strong&gt; at various corporate houses of the country.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; Demonstrates high proficiency in Ms Office software Suite.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;li&gt; Possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to present courses effectively and confidently.&lt;/li&gt; &lt;/ul&gt; &lt;p&gt; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</p>
